Free Burma

While I generally don’t advocate for sources that I haven’t been able to thoroughly check independently, I did want to at least demonstrate support for those fighting for a free Burma. Their courage and dedication should be admired and, as was expressed by Acting US Ambassador Shari Villarosa last night on AC 360°, our outrage needs to continue to be expressed and the push for peaceful, democratic change in Burma shouldn’t be forgotten.

Newsblooz: Thank you for the brief, but eloquent post today.

The push for a free and democratic Burma must continue to be supported and not forgotten. I am very glad that Anderson has continued to report on the situation in Burma; it is far from over and I think he is the only one who has continued to dedicate quality time to this tragedy.

It may seem like a world away, but their courageous fight for freedom should be recognized and applauded in every civilized country throughout the world.

I've been very pleased with the coverage AC360 has given the situation in Burma. The segment last night giving the history of Burma and how this situation came to be was very informative. I haven't been watching CNN( with the exception of AC360) or for that matter any US cable network lately so was wondering if any of the other programs have given this story the attention it deserved.
